Keeping our planet safe from any kind of destruction is really important, but since we are adults, we already know what is good and what isn’t when it comes to safety of our planet.
But what is really important is to teach our kids to love, cherish and respect our Earth, and that is something they must learn from an early age.
First you need to set an example, especially if you are a parent, because you child looks up to you. Your action is worth millions, and if your kid sees you are doing something positive about it, believe us he/she will do the same.
When it’s sunny outside or simply not too cold, take your kid outside. There are two reasons why you should do that: first and foremost because outdoor activities could improve your kid’s health and reduce any kind of disease.
And if he/she gets to learn more about the nature once she/he is little, they will care about it when they are older.
Teach them about recycling. We know how recycling is good for our nature and that is something everyone should do. So what you can do is give your kid any chores, and a good idea is to help you with classifying your recyclables.
If she/he learns how to do it and helps you with it, you can always give him/her a reward, and that’s how your child will learn to appreciate things more.
